Few of you know that epoxy is TOXIC before it is completely cured!

It can cause severe allergic reactions, irritation, swelling and even burns.

To create a DOG TAGS for you we must be secured with a special mask, gloves and goggles, and the room in which we work is constantly ventilated.

NO NEED TO BE SCARED!

The DOG TAG we send is completely SAFE. But before that happens we need to be 100% sure it is fully cured.

A LITTLE THEORY

Each dog tag consists of several layers:

FIRST LAYER – it’s like the colour of your dog tag (main theme)

SECOND LAYER – this is a topcoat that protects the first layer but also the name of your pet

THIRD LAYER – the one that is at the bottom and protects the phone number

FIRST PHASE

Each layer will dry for approximately 24-48 hours so that further work can be performed. Depending on the temperature and type of resin the curing time may vary. Assuming that everything went according to plan it takes 3 to 6 days for our dog tag to be initially ready for the second phase, i.e. final hardening.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

PHASE TWO

To be sure that the dog tag is completely safe and will not affect your or your pet’s health in any way it is recommended to wait 7-14 days after the last layer is cured during the first phase.

WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT SO LONG?

The epoxy resin recipients are tried and tested all over the world. Trust our work and instructions, and you will get a proven and safe product that really pleases the eye and is simply original.

If we want to have a 100% guarantee that the dog tag is hardened we must assume a turnaround time of 14 – 21 days.

You also need to be patient and we will try to create elegant and practical jewellery for your pet!
